Bay Laurel- AroMed's Laurus nobilis is certified organic and steam distilled in Canada. The leaves and twigs are steam distilled. It is in the lauraceae plant family, is a middle-top note and has a fresh, sweet, spicy, fresh, balsamic aroma.(I have a friend that thinks it smells like juicy fruit gum!)

Suggested Use - No More Gas! Combine 5 drops of bay laurel, along with 3 drops each bergamot, sweet marjoram and peppermint to 1 ounce of unscented lotion or carrier oil, like jojoba. Massage onto belly in a clockwise manner after eating to stimulate digestion while decreasing intestinal gas.
Blends well with: bergamot, orange, eucalyptus, sweet marjoram, roman chamomile, peppermint, ravintsara, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, ginger, juniper berry, lavender, patchouli, pine, rosemary, ylang ylang
Notes of interest: The term “Poet Laureate” came from the Middle Ages, when distinguished citizens were crowned with a wreath of berried laurel.
Modes of Application: topical- massage, compress, bath, skin care, salve Inhalation- direct inhalation, diffuser, steam inhalation
Safety data: Do not use with children under 5 related to the 1,8 cineole content. Avoid during pregnancy. Skin sensitization possible if used over a three week period, or when using old and/or oxidized oils. Essential Oils are typically used through inhalation and topical application while properly diluted. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner to address a specific health need, for a specified amount of time. Keep away from children and pets.
