Bergamot Mint

Bergamot Mint- AroMed's  Mentha citrata is organically grown and the leaves are steam distilled in India. The plant is in the lamiaceae family, and it's a middle/top note with an amazing aroma that is a combination of soft mint, floral and citrus.

  • Unlike other mints, bergamot mint is very gentle on the skin, and wonderful in blends that instill feelings of peace and calm
  • Its analgesic effects make it a nice addition to massage blends
  • Interestingly, because this mint has high levels of linalool and linalyl acetate in it (like lavender), it contributes nicely to insomnia blends
  • Reputed to cool down hot flashes
