Eucalyptus radiata has similar therapeutic qualities as eucalyptus globulus, but is better suited for elderly or those more frail in a 1% dilution (5-6 drops per 1 ounce of carrier), because it is milder, with a less pronounced camphorous aroma. Useful for all respiratory conditions. Excellent decongestant for colds, sinusitis and flu, as it stimulates cold receptors in the nose. Has beneficial antiviral and antibacterial action. It is an analgesic, relieving aches, pains, neuralgia, insect bites and headaches. Natural insect repellent.
