Description

Organic black spruce essential oil, sometimes called black pine, is steam distilled from the needles and twigs of Picea mariana  from our favorite Canadian distiller. This oil has a fresh, lightly balsamic aroma, with somewhat sweeter undertones that is unusual and pleasing, compared to other conifer essential oils. It is popular in aromatherapy for its opening and soothing attributes when added to a massage oil or inhalation/diffuser blend. Blend with other woodsy aromas like cedarwood and cypress, or floral scents like lavender and rose….black spruce is aromatically versatile, and plays nicely with others!
