Description

Cymbopogon winterianus, or Java citronella, has geraniol and citronellol in it, making it a great choice for an outdoor body spray. With water in a spray bottle, you can add citronella on its own, or blended with other oils, like cedarwood, geranium, patchouli, eucalyptus or lavender. AroMed’s citronella oil, with its clean, strong, lemony scent, comes from India.

Citronella can cause contact dermatitis in some individuals. Skin sensitization  also possible if using old and/or oxidized oils. Avoid while pregnant.
