Description

Oregano essential oil has a warm, herbal, camphor-like aroma with spicy notes. Oregano oil is well known for its potent ability to protect health. It wipes away germs, and helps the body regain its natural balance. Oregano oil’s strength is largely thanks to a component called “carvacrol,” which can cause skin irritation, so it is important to dilute this oil well. AroMed’s certified organic oregano essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the plant cultivated in Hungary.

Caution:
It is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and for individuals with clotting disorders and/or on anticoagulant drug therapy. Oregano can be skin sensitizing and should be diluted at no more than a 1% dilution (5 drops per 1 ounce/30 ml carrier). Do not use on children under 6 years of age. Skin sensitization is possible if using old and/or oxidized oils. Essential Oils are typically used via inhalation and/or topical application while properly diluted. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner to address a specific health need, for a specified period of time. Keep away from children and pets.
