Peppermint is an emotionally stimulating, uplifting and energizing oil. It can improve cognitive function when tired or unfocused. An effective analgesic, it can be used with other oils, or on its own, to treat headaches, muscle aches and pains, joint pain, bug bites and neurologic pain. Peppermint is very effective when addressing many digestive issues like, motion sickness, nausea, upset stomach, diarrhea and intestinal gas. Widely used for respiratory complaints as it can be opening and cooling to nasal passages and decrease inflammation.
