Referred to as “sunshine in a bottle” here at AroMed, zesty, fresh, and bright, lemon essential oil’s aroma smells just like the fruit rind. The dominant component in lemon oil, limonene, has been very well researched. Lemon is lively and refreshing, and we use it in our cleaning products both at home and at our store. AroMed’s lemon essential oil is cold pressed from the rinds of freshly harvested fruits cultivated on the mountainsides of Italy.

Caution:

We recommend keeping d-limonene rich oils in the refrigerator to decrease chance of oxidation. Photosensitivity is possible, particularly with cold pressed lemon oil. Skin sensitization is possible if using old and/or oxidized oils. Essential Oils are typically used via inhalation and/or topical application while properly diluted. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified aromatherapy practitioner to address a specific health need, for a specified period of time. Keep away from children and pets.
